SHANGHAI--(Business Wire)--2011 Resources Recycling Industry Exhibition (CIRR) and 2011 Plastic Recycling Industry Seminar, two events hosted by China Association of Resource Comprehensive Utilization (CARCU), organized by CBI Events and supported by Rubber & Plastics Research Association (RAPRA), will take place on September 15-16, 2011, in Shanghai, China.

CIRR is an annual event focused on recycling of plastic scrap, metal scrap, electronic scrap and reclaimed rubber products. This grand event gathers professionals from major European countries, North America, Middle East and Asia. So far a total of 320 exhibitors, more than 16,000 visitors as well as over 5,500 recycling companies and individuals have joined in this annual event for information sharing and networking.

Early 2010 saw a vigorous economic growth in ASEAN countries and the introduction of “Zero Tariff” within China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, which increased import and export among ASEAN countries. CIRR therefore is gaining attention from ASEAN countries and other emerging markets.

China Association of Resource Comprehensive Utilization (CARCU) aims to boost resource utilization efficiency, conserve energy, protect environment, coordinate economic, environmental and social benefits, and accelerate the sustainable social and economic development of China. RAPRA is a Not-for-Profit Membership Association for companies in polymer manufacturing, processing and end use. With the full support of CARCU and RAPRA, CIRR is expected to present a higher-level trade show this year.
