BEUMER Group will use WEBfactory 2010 everywhere software as its standard solution for automation applications

Beumer, a global internal logistics supplier based in Beckum, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, has selected WEBfactory, a visualisation software company based in Buchen, Germany, to supply the Group's automation applications. The product range of Beumer, a family owned company founded in 1935, includes innovative conveying and loading technology, palletising and packaging equipment, as well as sorting and distribution systems.
Beumer's installations and systems are currently used in more than 70 countries around the world. With some 2,000 employees, the Beumer Group achieves an annual revenue of approximately €375 million.
Beumer develops complete installations for conveying and loading technology. Its palletisation technology division provides a graded and comprehensive product range, for example, to create loading units in the cement and building materials industry and many other industries. In order to secure and protect these palletised goods, the company's packaging technology provides efficient, high-performance packaging machines. In the field of sorting and distribution technology, Beumer supplies installations, including equipment for sorting baggage with speed and accuracy in airports.
