ITA Names Stephen Christopher as New Member of Its Board of Directors

GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands -- (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Investors Trust Assurance SPC ("ITA") today announced Stephen Christopher has been named to the company's board of directors. Mr. Christopher is a recognized leader in the financial services industry known for guiding multiple corporations through highly complex consolidations, integrations, merger activities and new company launches.

As CEO and President of ING Life U.S. (part of the ING family of companies) Mr. Christopher led the strategic consolidation of four free-standing life insurance companies (Security Life of Denver, Southland Life, Life of Georgia, and Equitable of Iowa). His successes with ING and the successful turnaround and launch of other insurance companies are proven examples of his focus on the importance of optimizing operational and distribution platforms capable of delivering sustainable sales and profitability goals.

Currently, Mr. Christopher's efforts are focused on development of product, distribution and operational concepts and improvements with a range of companies.

Mr. Christopher earned his MBA from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 1977, and his BS in Commerce and Business from the University of Alabama in 1973.
