Aastra Completes the Purchase of Ericsson's Operations for Enterprise Communication in China

Aastra is pleased to announce today that, through its subsidiary Aastra Communication Technology (Beijing) Company Limited, it has acquired the operations of LJC (Ericsson Inspur Communication Technology Co., Ltd) that comprised Ericsson's Enterprise Communications Division in China. The acquired operations will be operating under the Aastra brand name. In China, Aastra's operations will be based out of Beijing with channel partners covering the entire country to serve a significant installed base.
Aastra has grown rapidly by protecting its customers' investment and offering a roadmap for customers to evolve to IP communications at their own pace. Aastra is supporting existing products and applications originally acquired from the Ericsson Enterprise Communications Division in 2008, such as MD110 and MX-ONE. Aastra ensures a smooth migration path to new technologies for existing customers as well as a comprehensive, feature-rich and cost-effective product portfolio for new customers.
