NOVATO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SPG Solar announced today that Chris Robine will join the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Robine replaces Paul McKnight who will be leaving SPG Solar to pursue other opportunities.

Robine has extensive leadership experience in managing complex corporate finance and renewable energy. Most recently, Robine was the Chief Financial Officer for GE Renewable Energy. In that position, Robine led a team of 68 global finance resources to drive growth, improve operational performance and strengthen controllership across the business.

“We are very pleased to have Chris join our team,” says Thomas Rooney, Chief Executive Officer at SPG Solar. “Chris brings a wealth of experience in world class financial control systems as well as significant experience in the renewable energy sector. I look forward to working closely with Chris as SPG Solar enters the next phase of its evolution including significant global growth and strategic acquisition.”

I've worked in several high-growth businesses at GE and each has its own unique set of challenges.
