Panasonic Awarded a Gold Rating in EcoVadis Sustainability Survey

LONDON--()--Panasonic Corporation has been awarded a Gold Recognition Level in sustainability performance survey conducted by EcoVadis. This excellent result also places Panasonic among the top 5% performers in the survey.

EcoVadis is a collaborative platform enabling companies to monitor the sustainable performance of their suppliers. EcoVadis uses their unique CSR assessment system with a methodology covering 150 purchasing categories, 110 countries, and 21 CSR indicators. The system analyses and evaluates company performance over 4 major categories, i.e. Environment, Labour Practices & Human Rights, Fair Business Practices and Sustainable Procurement.

Ensuring sustainability in business is of growing interest in the current world. Business is expected to be sustainable and transparent in their performance both in their own organisation and global supply chains.
