WOODRIDGE, Ill. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Brookfield Global Relocation Services (http://www.brookfieldgrs.com) today invited companies worldwide to participate in its acclaimed annual "Global Relocation Trends Survey." Now in its 15th year, the survey has become the definitive study of companies' global employee-relocation practices, mobility policies and trends.

The survey's longevity and deep reservoir of data enable Brookfield Global Relocation Services to compare each year's results with historical averages, which help gauge the relative importance of annual variations. Brookfield Global Relocation Services will release the results of the annual survey, along with its analysis, in early 2010.

The company is issuing a worldwide call for companies to participate in the survey and be a part of helping to continue to uncover key trends shaping international mobility.

The questionnaire for the upcoming survey is available at http://www.brookfieldgrs.com/grts2.html. All participants will receive a complimentary copy of the survey results.

Each year, the Global Relocation Trends Survey paints a comprehensive picture of evolving trends and emerging issues facing companies of all sizes that rely on an international workforce. For example, the 14th annual survey, released earlier this year, found that the ongoing economic downturn has forced some companies to dramatically scale back the number of employees they are relocating for international assignments.

Results of the survey have been published in such major publications as Time Magazine, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The International Herald Tribune, to name a few.

"The Global Relocation Trends Survey is an invaluable resource for any company with an international workforce," said Scott Sullivan, executive vice president of Brookfield Global Relocation Services. "Not only does it explore top concerns among employees facing overseas assignments, and which countries are the most challenging for expatriate workforces, but it also offers a unique, in-depth look at emerging trends gleaned from years of extensive research."

In addition to the annual Global Relocation Trends Survey, Brookfield Relocation Services conducts additional global research and makes it available at http://www.brookfieldgrs.com/knowledge/access_form/.
