HONG KONG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Williams Lea, a leading global provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) and marketing services, announces the appointment of Todd Handcock as the company’s Chief Executive Officer for the Asia Pacific region and as a new member of the Williams Lea Group Executive Board. The role reports to Group CEO Conor Davey and will be effective September 10, 2012.

This appointment is made at a time of substantial and ambitious growth for Williams Lea in the Asia Pacific region. Following Williams Lea’s 2011 acquisition of Tag, a global marketing production agency, the region forecasts significant growth in 2013 and beyond.

Todd joins Williams Lea from Equinix Ltd, a global leader in the provision of data centre services supporting many of the world’s largest companies. As regional Chief Marketing Officer, he was responsible for marketing strategy in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Equinix, Todd spent six years with BT Global Services in Asia Pacific, where he held a number of senior roles including Vice President of Business Transformation, Vice President of Business Operations and China Country Manager and was responsible for driving significant growth with marquis customers. Earlier in his career, Todd worked for Descartes Systems Group and Maves International Software, both leaders in supply chain and logistics technology solutions.

Todd, who has lived and worked across Asia for close to 20 years, will be based in Hong Kong, chairing the Asia Pacific regional board.

Conor Davey, Group CEO, said of the appointment: "Leading the Asia Pacific region, Todd will be focused on driving our growth strategy across all Williams Lea businesses. Todd brings a wealth of experience in delivering strategic sales growth in both emerging and mature markets in Asia, which will greatly enhance our regional capabilities.˝

Todd Handcock commented: “Williams Lea has achieved impressive success through its ability to recognize trends in the marketplace and to create high quality, innovative solutions to support its clients. I am excited to be joining Williams Lea in Asia Pacific and look forward to helping the team leverage the enormous opportunities that this dynamic region presents.”
