One of the world’s largest water-related conferences is nearly upon us. The IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition 2012 will be held in BEXCO Convention Center, Nurimaru APEC House and other locations in Busan, Korea, from September 16th to 21st.

The IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition is a high-profile biennial event where world-leading water professionals and experts gather together to discuss and find reasonable solutions to water-related problems facing us in the 21st century.

Getting to the heart of the issues
Under the main theme of ‘Pioneering global water solutions’, the 2012 IWA Congress will be the perfect venue for participants to share the latest information and knowledge about water.

Bringing the world of water together
As so many prestigious organizations and major businesses around the world related to the issue of water will join the event, it is expected that the congress will provide excellent opportunities for the forming of global networks among cities and businesses.

The 17th Busan International Film Festival

Busan International Film Festival, celebrating its 17th edition this year, will be held for 10 days from October 4-13, 2012 at the Busan Cinema Center and movie theaters in Haeundae with the screening of over 300 films from 70 countries.

Asia's premier film festival also offers a variety of special events including opportunities to meet and interact with film professionals and movie stars at the Busan Cinema Center, BIFF Village and BIFF Square.

The festival also includes a wide range of programs, such as the Asian Film Academy, Asian Cinema Fund, and Asian Film Market, which are designed to support film directors and film production in Asia.

Busan Cinema Center, completed last year and the stunning new home of the Busan International Film Festival, has already become a landmark building and world-class tourist destination for the city.

Having served as a platform for Asian films to engage the world, BIFF has successfully established itself as Asia's premier film festival, making a significant contribution to the growth of Asia's film industry.

The 8th Busan Fireworks Festival

This coming October, there is a massive event taking place in Busan which is attracting world-wide attention. This year, the Busan Fireworks Festival is expected to attract more than 1.5 million tourists for the two-day spectacular.
