KVH Co., Ltd., Asia's leading information delivery platform, today announced that Mr. Christopher Young has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Service Provider and International Market Group. Mr. Young is a 29-year veteran of the ICT industry with a proven track record in sales leadership and will be responsible for overseeing KVH's sales to service providers worldwide and to enterprise customers across Asia Pacific.
To address the diversified IT services needs of financial services and other information-intensive industries, KVH has been extending its geographic reach with high-quality and best practice service models from Japan to other major Asia Pacific cities including Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul/Busan, Sydney, and Chicago. Leveraging his extensive experience and expertise in global ICT business, Mr. Young will play a key role in strengthening and accelerating KVH's expansion.

Most recently, Mr. Young served as Vice President, Carrier Markets at Level 3 Communication and was based in Washington D.C., where he was responsible for growing Level 3's Cable, Satellite and Wholesale Content Delivery Network (CDN) business. Mr. Young started his career with IBM, working in Hong Kong and the USA, after which he held various management and sales leadership roles at Wharf T&T Hong Kong, AT&T Asia Pacific, and Global Crossing in the Asia Pacific, Europe and in the US.
Mr. Young holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
