WOLFSCHLUGEN, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Willi Balz, Chairman of the Executive Board of Windreich AG, is gearing his company towards further growth. With several new additions to the management, the company's market leadership in the area of offshore energy is to be extended, and the energy revolution is to be promoted. 'We are the market leaders - therefore we are also attractive to the best top executives', says Balz.

Since February, one of the leading energy managers Anil Srivastava (51) has taken responsibility for the global growth strategy and the international sales activities of Windreich AG. Most recently, Srivastava was CEO of the Renewable Energies Business Group of the French energy group AREVA, and, in this role, enjoyed the confidence the then Chairman of the Executive Board of the AREVA Group, Anne Lauvergeon, one of the most powerful managers in Europe. Srivastava has more than twenty years of experience in international management. Before working for AREVA, he worked for companies such as Alcatel-Lucent or the TomTom Group. Srivastava has a master's degree from the Indian National Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business in the USA.

Another new addition to the management team of the Windreich Group is Hans-Peter Stöckl (50) - he will act as the Managing Director of Windenergy GmbH and manage the Swiss Windreich office in the future. The graduate in mechanical engineering (ETH Zurich) was most recently employed as the Chief Operating Office of Airtight Energy Manufacturing S.A. and was responsible for the areas of market and sales development there. Prior to this, Stöckl had worked with various companies in the area of renewable energy and, for example, successfully implemented international projects at EGL/AXPO. 'Mr Srivastava and Mr Stöckl will gain new investors and new products and business partners for us', says Windreich Chairman Balz.

Windreich AG is also gaining reinforcements in the central functions: thus, Ulrika Ann Lohse (45), as the Senior Legal Counsel, will be responsible for the composition of contracts and other legal concerns in the area of offshore wind energy. Previously, the lawyer was employed in the Legal Department of EnBW Erneuerbare Energien GmbH, as Head of the Legal Department of Beluga Offshore GmbH and as Head of the Legal Department of BARD Engineering GmbH. The Human Resources Department of Windreich AG will, in the future, be managed by Joachim Roth (47), previously Human Resources Manager at ITT Cannon GmbH. Roth is to, in particular, promote the expansion of the workforce in Germany and abroad, and thus support the tremendous growth of the Windreich Group. Marcus Loistl (42) is taking on responsibility for the areas of marketing and communication with immediate effect. Loistl was previously Vice President of Corporate Communications at MANN+HUMMEL GmbH and before that Senior Investor Relations Manager at Bertrandt AG. He will also represent Windreich AG as a spokesman to the press.

According to the Chairman of the Executive Board, Balz, 'A company can only give outstanding performance with an outstanding team. We are facing a task of a century - specifically to replace coal-fired power plants and nuclear power plants with safe and clean wind energy. For this we need the best people in their field. Thanks to our highquality new additions, we are even better equipped for the imminent growth. I am looking forward to a successful working relationship and a breath of fresh air in the company.' Windreich AG is currently planning to increase its workforce to 180 employees by the end of 2012.
