A $25 Donation Will Be Made to a Non-Profit Charity From Around the Globe on Behalf of Each Survey Respondent

WOODRIDGE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brookfield Global Relocation Services is inviting multinational companies worldwide to participate in its acclaimed annual "Global Relocation Trends Survey." Thanks in large part to those participating companies, the survey - now in its 17th year -- has become the definitive study of companies' global employee-relocation practices, mobility policies and trends.

The company is issuing a worldwide call for companies to participate in the survey. Through their participation, companies will help to continue to uncover key trends shaping international mobility. Survey respondents' information is kept confidential.

In appreciation for completing the 2012 Global Relocation Trends Survey, Brookfield Global Relocation Services will make a $25 donation to one of two pre-selected global non-profit organizations selected by each survey respondent. The donation is Brookfield Global Relocation Services' way of showing its commitment to giving back to local communities to support development initiatives around the world.

The survey's longevity and extensive data gleaned from years of research enable Brookfield Global Relocation Services to compare each year's results with historical averages, which help gauge the relative importance of annual variations. Brookfield Global Relocation Services will release the results of the annual survey, along with its analysis, in early 2012.

The questionnaire for the upcoming survey is available at http://www.brookfieldgrs.com/grts2.html. All survey participants will receive a complimentary copy of the survey results.

Each year, the Global Relocation Trends Survey offers up a comprehensive picture of evolving trends and emerging issues facing companies of all sizes that rely on an internationally mobile workforce.

For example, the 16th annual survey released earlier this year, found that human resources executives were quite optimistic: 61 percent of global companies said they expected to transfer more employees this year. This year's survey also found that the percentage of new hires for international assignments hit an all-time low of just 8 percent. Results of the survey have been published in such major publications including The New York Times and The Financial Times, to name a few.

"The Global Relocation Trends Survey is truly the voice of human resources professionals and multinational firms and we look forward to gathering, then publishing this incredibly important information," said Scott Sullivan, executive vice president of Brookfield Global Relocation Services. "We are extremely grateful to all of the individuals who participate in the survey and our $25 donation on their behalf is a token of our appreciation to them and to helping people worldwide."
