Inaugural BIO China event will be held October 12-13 in Shanghai

WASHINGTON & SHANGHAI, China--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) is pleased to announce that Mr. Chen Qiyu, Chairman of Fosun Pharma, will provide a keynote address at the BIO China International Conference to be held October 12-13 in Shanghai, China. The event will bring together biotechnology and pharmaceutical leaders to explore business opportunities with life science companies in China.

Mr. Chen Qiyu started his career within the Research and Development Department of Shanghai RAAS Blood Product Co. Ltd. In 1994, he joined the Fosun Group where he has successively held the posts of Vice General Manager, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Secretary to the Board of Directors, Director, Vice Chairman and ultimately President of Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Group.
Fosun Pharma is dedicated to the modern healthcare and biotechnology industry, specifically the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
