Appoints Peter Atkinson as Head of FX Products Management

NEW YORK & LONDON & TOKYO & PARIS & AIX EN PROVENCE, France--(BUSINESS WIRE)--smartTrade Technologies, an industry leader in cross-asset liquidity management software today announced that Peter Atkinson, will assume the newly created role of Head of FX Products Management effective immediately. Peter Atkinson will be based in London with a focus to prepare and manage the delivery of smartTrade's next generation FX hosted solutions , leveraging smartTrade's latest improvement in its cross-asset LMS technology. Prior to joining smartTrade, Peter worked for HSBC in their London Global Banking and Markets division. He managed the development and deployment of their FX pricing, trading and risk management systems. Peter has a long career in FX, having previously been an IT Director at Dresdner Kleinwort. He has also worked in eCommerce at Deutsche Bank and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Peter started his career as a developer in the City of London and has worked in multiple asset classes both in the front and back office in London, New York and Tokyo. He holds a B.Eng degree in Computer Science from the University of York.
