American Society of Clinical Oncology Announces Licensing Updates in China

ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ASCO has announced suspension of production of the Chinese edition of the Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO). Effective April 25, 2011, ASCO has ended its relationship and no longer works with or is in any way affiliated with the agency EMD Healthcare (i.e., EMD China Scientific Communication Ltd. and its affiliated companies). EMD is no longer authorized to produce or license reprints of the JCO or any other ASCO publications. The final issue of the Chinese edition of the JCO was published in December 2010.

ASCO remains committed to the Chinese oncology community through a variety of programs and activities. ASCO also plans to continue to license production of the Best of ASCO® program in China.
