The hotel offers a new lunch and dinner program based on the beloved masterpiece novel “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” at the hotel’s French Restaurant, “Chef’s Theatre” for a limited time: April 25th 2022 (Mon) to September 30th 2022 (Fri).
“The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” themed lunch & diner program narrates the first half of the story through lunch and the second half through dinner so that together, they complete the whole novel.
“The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” is a children’s novel, written by Lyman Frank Baum in 1900, about a girl, Dorothy, who gets whisked away by a tornado to the magical land of Oz. The story illustrates Dorothy’s astonishing adventure where she meets many new friends before returning home. The “Chef’s Theatre” arranges a series of French Bistronomy with an open kitchen live cooking performance at the Chef's Theatre.” As the name “Chef’s Theatre” implies, your five senses will enjoy both the food and live cooking performance, which illustrates the story through the live cooking performance. The lunch program encapsulates the story from the moment Dorothy and her dog, Todo, get swept away by a tornado, to the climax of the story, when she finally arrives at the Emerald City along with a few others that she befriended during her journey. The dinner program continues the story from when Dorothy fights the Wicked Witch of the West, to when Dorothy and Toto finally get back home with the help of the kind Witch of the South.
