Yihaodian Joins CES Asia 2016 Show Floor

Wal-Mart owned e-commerce giant to showcase innovative customer platform at Asia’s premier tech event

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™ today announced that Yihaodian, one of China’s top e-commerce brands, will bring its innovative customer platform and latest advancements to the CES Asia™ 2016 show floor. Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association and co-produced by Intex Shanghai, the second annual CES Asia will run May 11-13, in Shanghai, China – register today.

“Through its innovative leadership and corporate strategies, Yihaodian has become a leading Chinese e-commerce business, creating a seamless user experience for its customers,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, Consumer Technology Association. “We look forward to experiencing Yihaodian’s technology in action on the CES Asia show floor.”

On the CES Asia show floor (SNIEC, Hall N4, Booth 4004), Yihaodian will unveil their range of high-tech electronics products that deliver a quality customer experience. Their product showcase will focus on how smart home technology is improving lives.

“As one of the major Chinese online retailers, high-tech electronic products are important commodities in Yihaodian’s ten-million goods,” said Emma Song, vice president of Yihaodian’s merchandising department. “Our purpose is to supply trendy and functional high-tech products to Chinese consumers, meet their needs and give them the best experiences of online shopping.”

CES Asia 2016 will feature four major Chinese retailers showcasing their buying platforms and ecosystems on the exhibit floor with Alibaba, JD.com, Suning and Yihaodian each exhibiting.

Returning to Shanghai for its second year, CES Asia 2016 is expanding from two exhibit halls in 2015 to four with a show floor that will span up to 32,000 gross square meters (16,000 net square meters). Featuring more than 350 exhibiting companies, the entire global technology industry will be represented at CES Asia across 15 product categories from 3D printing and smart home to vehicle technology and wearables.
