Arthur D. Little Names New Chief Innovation Officer

UK Partner and ADL senior Rick Eagar will also lead the consultancy’s Technology & Innovation Management Practice

Little (ADL), today announced the appointment of Rick Eagar as Chief Innovation Officer and Global Technology & Innovation Management (TIM) Practice Leader. With over 26 years of experience helping many of the world’s leading organizations perfect their innovation management programs, in this new role Eagar will work with the firm’s leaders and experts across the globe to develop the next generation of innovative and impactful client offerings as part of the firm’s ambitious growth strategy.

The creation of the new role reflects the importance of the consultancy’s Anticipate—Innovate—Transform focus which is aimed at helping ADL clients grow and prosper in today’s rapidly changing business environment – an environment in which navigating the future, delivering breakthrough innovations and tackling continuous change is essential to face hyper-competition and threats of disruption.

After joining ADL in 1989 following nearly a decade at Shell International, Eagar has been a director and partner for more than 18 years, focusing on technology and innovation management for clients across a range of industries. Eagar also serves as Chief Editor of ADL's top management journal Arthur D. Little Prism.

This nomination comes at a time where Arthur D. Little is accelerating its global growth, with over 35 Partners promoted or hired since its recent MBO. In 2015 alone, the firm has opened multiple offices across all five continents and 14 Partners have joined or been promoted from within, reflecting growing client demand for its services.
