JD.com Joins International CES Asia as Official Industry Partner

China’s largest e-tailer partners with Asia’s premier tech event to highlight latest innovations coming to market

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® today announced that JD.com (NASDAQ: JD), the leading online direct sales company in China, will join the inaugural International CES AsiaTM as an Official Industry Partner. CES Asia will run May 25-27 in Shanghai, China, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) and will draw global businesses to showcase the latest products and technologies entering the Asian marketplace.

The CES Asia show floor will span 20,000 gross square meters (8,500 net square meters) of exhibit space showcasing top trends including the Internet of Things, technology innovation and connectivity. More than 125 companies representing 13 countries and regions are currently slated to exhibit, from major economies including China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Israel Norway, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Global brands exhibiting include Audi, Audio-Technica, Continental, Digital China, DTS, Ford, Garmin, Gibson, Hisense, Intel, Mercedes-Benz, Monster, Scosche, Shanghai Moshi, Skullcandy Audio, Thinking Group, TomTom and Voxx.

CES Asia will feature three high-interest Marketplaces: 3D Printing, Robotics and Wearables and 14 product categories spanning the most influential ingenuities from smart home to automotive to sports and fitness. Additionally, executives from global brands will speak at the event including Audi’s Rupert Stadler, who will deliver a preshow keynote address at 5 PM Sunday, May 24.
