AURORA, Ohio--()--The Process Systems Business Unit of Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics announces it has consolidated its brand portfolio to strategically align its product offerings and to better serve the challenging needs of a growing global customer base.

As the business unit has evolved from many successful small, regional businesses into a single, global business, the new branding initiative helps to unite its world-class product offerings to better align the Process Systems’ business with the evolving needs of its global customers.

“Our new brand portfolio enables us to clearly communicate the value and brand promise we provide to our customers, which includes providing peace of mind and building trust with them,” said Raymond Pace, worldwide marketing director of the Process Systems Business Unit.

The business unit’s new brand portfolio introduces two new brands, Versilon and Covison, and maintains two flagship brands, Tygon and Furon, whose value the organization will reinforce.

  • Versilon products include premium-quality tubing, hoses and fittings fulfilling a range of demanding certification, performance and safety standards.
  • Covison products include custom-designed, manufactured seals that perform at critical connection points in demanding applications.
  • Tygon products include precision-designed tubing for peak performance and regulatory compliance, across a range of specialized fluid transfer applications.
  • Furon products include premium pumps, valves, fittings and manifolds for the precise and secure flow control of high-purity fluids for demanding, specialized applications.

“Both the new and existing brands will assure all our global customers of world-class service, technical support and customization flexibility across a range of products and polymer technologies—all backed by Saint-Gobain’s brand promise,” Pace said.

As a result of the rebranding, customers will see new logos, tag lines, and in some cases, product brand names. However, Saint-Gobain is not changing any product specifications nor altering specification-related materials as a result of the rebranding. This initiative will not affect the company’s part numbers by which customers order products. Only products’ logos, markings and descriptions may change.

The brand consolidation will begin in the coming months, and completion of the brand transition may take more than a year.

“We strongly believe the investment in this initiative will help us deliver brand promises even better to ultimately strengthen relationships with our customers,” Pace said.
