NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The most influential lawyers and law firms doing business in the Asian region will be honored next month at ALM’s inaugural The Asian Lawyer Awards, being held on March 5, 2014, at The Conrad Hotel in Hong Kong.
“The awards will be presented to one law firm and two individual ‘All-Star’ honorees in each of nine categories,” said Danny Collins, managing director of ALM's International Division. “The categories include financial services, real estate, energy and other industries that are the major components of growth in the Asian economies.”
The law firms to be recognized will all have performed work in a particular industry over the past year worthy of recognition. The final winners will be selected by the editorial staff of The Asian Lawyer as the firms to have made the most significant contribution to the industry in the past year.
The individual honorees will have shown in the past year they are go-to lawyers in a particular industry, whether through their work on a major transaction or their consistent provision of high-level advice to top executives. The winners will also be listed in a special upcoming edition of The Asian Lawyer.
Based on recommendations from their peers in private practice, six in-house lawyers will also be recognized for distinction in their work in the past year.
