ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 Latest Developments Announced

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates--()--The Higher Organizing Committee of the International Security, Safety and National Resilience exhibition and conference (ISNR 2014), the platform comprehensively covering issues of national security and safety in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, uncovered today new developments to be featured in ISNR’s upcoming edition.

Organized by the Ministry of Interior and REED Exhibitions, ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre from April 1-3, 2014.

ISNR Abu Dhabi will feature dedicated pavilions for Homeland Security and National Resilience (HSNR by ISNR); Information Security (IS by ISNR); and Critical Infrastructure Security by ISNR (CIS by ISNR). It will also feature two collocated launch events: Fire & Emergency Middle East (FEM) and Occupational Safety and Health Middle East (OSH ME); in addition to the high-level International Conference on Security Challenges, scheduled for March 31, 2014.

Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Kutbi, deputy commander-in-chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee for ISNR 2014 stated: “We are keen to cover issues of national security under one roof; we expect this event to attract leading industry professionals, government representatives, and experts from the region’s public and private sectors. This will reflect Abu Dhabi's prominent growing position in national security and resilience.”

Frederic Theux, president of Reed Exhibitions Middle East, said: “The ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 will feature 40% more exhibition space than last year’s edition with up to 23,500 sqm; with 400 exhibitors from over 25 countries. It will host 15,000 senior security and emergency professionals from around the world.”

The HSNR pavilion focuses on security challenges in the region, and provides integrated solutions for risk prevention. The IS pavilion is supported by the UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) and InfoSec Europe. Moreover, the CIS pavilion will be sponsored by ISC West exhibition and conference.

FEM is the region’s platform for experts and public safety workers, as well as consultants and critical infrastructure decision makers, government entities, municipalities and the army. The OSH ME is held in strategic partnership with OSH Abu Dhabi. A number of workshops will also be organized on the OSH ME exhibition’s sidelines.

ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 will gather authorities and integrated security solution buyers from sectors such as oil and gas, ports, airports, and banks to interact with latest technology solution providers.

In its 4th editition, this event is a prominent event on the calendar of global security and safety events in the MENA region.
