CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Camstar Systems, Inc. announced today that Infineon Technologies AG (OTCQX: IFNNY), a leading provider of semiconductor and system solutions that address energy efficiency, mobility and security challenges, has successfully deployed Camstar’s Semiconductor Suite^TM in the Singapore plant of Infineon. Semiconductor Suite is a manufacturing execution system (MES) designed specifically for semiconductor manufacturing. Infineon is replacing a network of legacy manufacturing systems with a single Global MES platform that supports agility in its diverse operations that produce the company’s complex portfolio of products. The Infineon project team – with assistance from Camstar and Camstar partner znt-Richter – implemented Camstar at Infineon in Singapore on schedule and launched the first lot with a ceremony (see photo). Deployment at additional assembly and test sites is already well underway.
