LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ralink Technology Corporation (TAIEX:3534) (Ralink), a leading developer of high performance wired and wireless solutions, will demonstrate its latest wireless technologies, connectivity devices and applications at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ralink’s demonstrations will take place at the Las Vegas Hilton, Hospitality Room #28-115. With design wins at 3 of the 5 largest Blu-ray makers, the 2 largest HDTV makers and Europe’s largest pay television channel service provider, Ralink’s demonstrations represent the nexus of wireless connectivity and the new era of connected consumer electronics.

According to In-Stat’s WLAN market forecast, the global Wi-Fi market will reach 1.9 billion units in 2015, implying a Wi-Fi attach rate approaching 50 percent for all electronic devices. For some media centric devices such as Blu-ray players and game consoles, In-Stat predicts a 36 percent and 100 percent Wi-Fi attach rate respectively.
