Tickets on Sale for "Business Day", September 16-17

The Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA) will hold the TOKYO GAME SHOW 2010, scheduled September 16-19, 2010 in Chiba, Japan. The first two days will be "Business Days" while the latter two will be open to public. Business day tickets are now available at TOKYO GAME SHOW official website (http://tgs.cesa.or.jp) until September 2. The price for the ticket is 5,000-yen, tax exclusive.

How to Purchase Business Day Tickets

(1)  

Go to the TOKYO GAME SHOW official website (http://tgs.cesa.or.jp). Select "Business Info" on the menu bar and click "Tickets (Advanced Registration for Business Days)."

(2) Enter required information to register; you will receive an interim registration notice via email.
(3) Your registration will be screened by the organizers as Business Day Tickets will be limited to professionals involved in game businesses only. Please note that we may call you at your workplace to confirm.
(4) Once you are confirmed as a member of the industry, the Management Office will send you a confirmation notice via email and process a ticket for you.
(5) You will then receive another email confirming that your ticket has been issued. Please bring print-out of the email (bar-coded ticket) upon your visit to TOKYO GAME SHOW 2010.

You will be asked to present two business cards or to show your picture ID, such as your company ID card (or other document indicating that you are an employee of that company), driver's license, or passport.

Please check in at the Preregistrant Counter upon your first day of visit.

If you are visiting again on the second business day, please come to the Second (Business) Day Admission Counter to have your admission pass renewed.

 

Important Reminder

  • No one under 18 years old or students will be admitted to TOKYO GAME SHOW 2010 on the Business Days.
  • The sale of Business Day Tickets will be limited to affiliates in the game industry (those working at a game company, involved in game-related businesses including distributors, etc.).
  • We accept payments for Business Day Tickets by credit card only.
  • At the time of the purchase, you will be asked to enter and register your personal information such as your company name and company address in order to confirm that you are a member of the industry.
  • The information you have registered will be screened to verify that you are a member of the industry. Business Day Tickets will be sold only to those who are confirmed as a member of the industry.
  • Please remember to bring required items (see (5) above) If not, your admission may be rejected.
  • Admission of those who registered with false information will be rejected.
  • The money paid to purchase the Business Day Tickets will not be refunded in any case.

(2) Enter required information; you will receive an application acceptance notice via email.
(3) Access the URL on the email, print out and bring a copy of the page (bar-coded ticket) upon your visit to TOKYO GAME SHOW 2010.
*   You will be asked to present two business cards or to show your picture ID, such as your company ID card (or other document indicating that you are an employee of that company), driver's license, or passport.
* Please check in at the Preregistrant Counter upon your first day of visit.
