CUHK Shenzhen named WRDS-SSRN Innovation Award winner for Research Excellence

PHILADELPHIA--()--Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) and SSRN are pleased to announce The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen as winner of the 2023 WRDS-SSRN Innovation Award. Annual awards are presented to rising business schools in the North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific regions to highlight excellence in research.

Steve Sheehan, Executive Director of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing for WRDS, and Erica Zhang, WRDS Associate Director of Client Development, presented the award during the AACSB Asia Pacific Annual conference in Osaka, Japan.

“This award recognizes the caliber of innovative and impact-focused research taking place at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen,” said Robert Zarazowski, Managing Director of WRDS. “WRDS is delighted to support the work taking place at the University and their commitment to growth in business education.” A part of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, WRDS advances comprehensive thought leadership and elevates the level of academic research to drive societal impact.
