Jefferies announced today the addition of two professionals to its Fixed Income Emerging Markets sales and trading effort in Asia. Sandra Oh and Eng Keong Ong join as Senior Vice Presidents to focus on the sales and trading, respectively, of emerging markets debt to institutional investors throughout Asia. Both are based in Singapore.

"We have significantly expanded our efforts during the past two years and now have nearly 500 fixed income professionals in the US, Europe and Asia, including more than 35 focused on emerging markets in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia."

Sandra Oh has more than 15 years of fixed income sales experience in Asia, including five years as Head of Credit Sales in the Singapore office of HSBC. She received an MBA from the University of Chicago and is a graduate of Oxford University.

Eng Keong Ong has more than nine years of industry experience and joins Jefferies from DZ Bank AG, where he was Credit Trader for Asian bonds. Previously, he held a similar position at BNP Paribas. He received a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
