Company’s Themed Construction Showcased at Lake of Dreams and Chamber of Treasures

ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The innovative themed construction of KHS&S International took center stage when Resorts World Sentosa Singapore unveiled its signature attractions, Lake of Dreams and Chamber of Treasures.

At this US$4.4 billion Asian resort, visitors experience KHS&S International’s leading-edge construction technology, which plays a major role in these multi-sensory attractions where guests are taken on visual voyages of fantasy. In its design-assist role, KHS&S International took the attractions from concept to implementation, creating stunning displays using light, sound and Earth elements.

The attractions are the concept of Emmy award-winner Jeremy Railton whose entertainment designs range from celebrity musical stages to Olympic opening ceremonies.

Lake of Dreams, a musical extravaganza, features synchronized high-speed water jets and flaming fire pits. KHS&S International played a key role in nearly every aspect of this centerpiece display, including supplying and installing “vines” of glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) that transform into fire-breathing dragons. The company provided the rough and finish electrical, laser light show, lighting fixtures, structural steel and performance elevator.

Chamber of Treasures, a multi-sensory escalator, transports visitors to the resort casino via a kaleidoscope of sights and sounds showcasing works of world-renowned glass sculptor Dale Chihuly. KHS&S International’s turnkey services included design assistance, architectural and engineering drawings, lighting trusses and fixtures, rough and finish electrical and mirrored wall panels as the backdrop of this surreal visual spectacle.

“These projects truly showcase the talent of our attraction and show control experts, and the comprehensive services we bring to the entertainment and theme park industry,” says Philip Cherne, KHS&S Chief Operating Officer.

KHS&S International is currently completing Crane Dance, a third attraction by Jeremy Railton at Resorts World Sentosa. Other projects include Journey to Madagascar and Lights, Camera, Action!™, hosted by Steven Spielberg at Universal Studios Singapore.

KHS&S International provides interior fit-outs, themed construction, themed attractions, rockwork and water features for large-scale commercial projects around the globe. KHS&S International is part of KHS&S of Anaheim, CA, one of the world’s largest specialty design-assist building companies.
