Interfax News Services recently decided to partner with CGBC 2010's International Cooperation Forum. It will also give a speech at the forum to share its insights with the audience, with an aim to accelerate the development of China's gaming industry toward professionalization, marketization and internationalization. This year's CGBC will take place from July 28 to August 1, 2010, at the Shanghai International Conference Center.

In 2009, China's gaming industry achieved a brilliant success in foreign trade, making it a new engine for the industry. However, in the overseas marketplace, China's gaming products encountered not only fierce competition with gaming products from other countries including South Korea, but also such issues as dealing with the cultural differences and highly diversified ethnic characteristics.

As a partner with CGBC 2010's International Cooperation Forum, Interfax News Services will work with the organizing committee to build a high-end platform for business communication for the global gaming product distributors and operators, in order to enhance cooperation between the Chinese and international companies on product distribution and joint operation. Interfax News Services is a leading global news information provider. We have been engaged in providing information on China's key industries and emerging sectors worldwide since it was launched in China in 2000. So far Interfax News Services has established its own information platforms, in particular in the fields of Internet, hi-tech and telecommunication. Shaun Bowers, Interfax News Services' Managing Director APAC, said, "We hope to see this platform playing an active role in CGBC's International Cooperation Forum. We will provide our overseas subscribers and other professionals with up-to-date information about the Chinese gaming companies' operations and the development of the entire industry, allowing more companies to notice this market with a huge potential."

"In addition, through this forum we hope to help the Chinese gaming companies capitalize on the effective overseas brand and information distribution channel to attract potential partners and access new markets, as well as to build a good image for China's gaming industry. "

The 8th CGBC International Cooperation Forum will invite China's premier gaming companies with overseas operations and distributors from all over the world for the sharing of valuable experience in overseas operation and multinational cooperation.
