Hong Kong (25th January, 2017) – The AIA Great European Carnival is celebrating the Year of Rooster with an exciting line-up of entertainment during this Chinese New Year’s holidays. 27th January, Friday, 11-1am:
The Carnival will extend its opening hours till 1am for Carnival goers to celebrate the Lunar Chinese New Year till late.
28th January, Saturday, 4-5pm:
Traditional lion eye-dotting ceremony starts at 4pm at the Carnival’s main entrance, followed by lion dance on high poles at the live stage.
28th January – 6th February, 2-3pm, 4-5pm and 6-7pm:
Popular Carnival’s characters Phantastique family, Phylis and Phileas, will parade with Sesame Street’s icon Elmo and Money God to give away sweets to children during the holidays.
29th – 31st January, Sunday - Tuesday, 4-4:30pm:
Lion dance on high poles at the live stage.

The luxurious indoor suite is deliciously furnished by furnishing partner Timothy Oulton, completed by a VIP garden and an outdoor balcony overseeing the breathtaking Victoria Harbour. Bespoke services including men and ladies grooming treatments by Selvedge Grooming and Benefit will be on offer upon advanced bookings. Food and beverages service available.

ABOUT THE GREAT EUROPEAN CARNIVAL (TGEC)
The Great European Carnival Ltd (TGEC) is the producer of the annual Hong Kong event called The AIA Great European Carnival. The Great European Carnival takes place between December and February each year, on the Central Harbourfront Event Space. The event features amusement rides, carnival skill games, seasonal markets and performances on a community stage. This year the Carnival will run at the Central Harbourfront Event Space from 16th December.
