JD.com Returns to CES Asia as Official Industry Partner

Top Chinese brand brings dynamic exhibition and conference programming to Asia’s premier tech event

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™ today announced that JD.com (NASDAQ: JD) returns to CES AsiaTM 2016 as an official industry partner, bringing an innovative exhibition to the show floor and robust conference programming to Asia’s premier technology event. Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association and co-produced by Intex Shanghai, the second annual CES Asia will run May 11-13, in Shanghai, China.

“JD.com has been a tremendous champion of CES Asia and was a strong supporter of the inaugural event in 2015, helping to make the show a phenomenal success. JD.com also will exhibit on the CES Asia show floor (SNIEC, Hall N1, Booth #1326). Their exhibit will present the achievements of JD Smart, JD Finance and JD Logistics Lab, showcasing JD Smart's open smart ecosystem of interconnection technologies and applications, as well as the JD Smart start-up program. In addition, JD.com will demonstrate the leading technologies in the areas of smart logistics, drone delivery and artificial intelligence. Additionally, JD.com will host a launch event during CES Asia.

CES Asia 2016 will feature four major Chinese retailers showcasing their buying platforms and ecosystems on the show floor. No other event in the world, including CES, has all major Chinese retailers participating together.

Returning to Shanghai for its second year, CES Asia 2016 is expanding from two exhibit halls in 2015 to four with a show floor that will span 32,000 gross square meters (16,000 net square meters). Featuring more than 300 exhibiting companies, the entire global technology industry will be represented at CES Asia across 15 product categories from 3D printing and smart home to vehicle technology and wearables.
