Fractus Signs a Patent License Agreement in Japan

BARCELONA, Spain--()--Fractus, S.A., based in Barcelona, announced that it has entered into a worldwide patent license agreement with one of the major mobile phone manufacturers from Japan.

Global sales of smartphones to end users totaled 403 million units in the fourth quarter of 2015, a 9.7 percent increase over the same period in 2014, according to Gartner, Inc.*
Asian cellphone manufacturers will continue to gain market share during 2016 as they rapidly expand outside their home markets.
