IRVINE, Calif.--()--CrowdStrike Inc., the leader in cloud-delivered next-generation endpoint protection, threat intelligence and response services, today announced the launch of its operations in EMEA by opening a corporate office in the United Kingdom. The expansion comes on the heels of exponential global demand for the CrowdStrike Falcon™ endpoint protection platform, threat intelligence, and response services.

In the past year, CrowdStrike’s business in the EMEA region has increased by over 200 percent, including the recent addition of one of the world’s largest energy providers headquartered in EMEA. With deployments in more than 170 countries and a rapidly growing footprint in EMEA, the company is augmenting its existing European presence of engineers, intrusion and intelligence analysts to also include sales, marketing and partner development resources. CrowdStrike has appointed Michael East as vice president of EMEA Sales to lead its EMEA go-to-market efforts. East previously held a senior leadership role within FireEye’s EMEA sales organization.

“CrowdStrike is seeing significant growth in EMEA and will bring its industry-leading next-generation endpoint protection, intelligence, and response services to the market with a total focus on helping companies stop breaches,” said George Kurtz, CrowdStrike’s co-founder and chief executive officer. “Establishing a centralized brick-and-mortar presence in EMEA will accelerate our go-to market strategy as we deepen relationships with local partners and continue to support our rapidly expanding customer base.”

Fueled by a surge in customer demand for its category-leading endpoint protection platform, CrowdStrike has dramatically increased adoption for its technology, threat intelligence, and response services across global enterprise customers. Recently, the company introduced new capabilities to its Falcon Platform, including advanced next-generation antivirus, defenses to combat the CryptoWall ransomware, and cutting-edge threat detection and prevention, powered by the CrowdStrike Threat Graph™.

About CrowdStrike

CrowdStrike is the leader in next-generation endpoint protection, threat intelligence and response services. CrowdStrike’s core technology, the Falcon platform, stops breaches by preventing and responding to all types of attacks – both malware and malware-free. CrowdStrike has revolutionized endpoint protection by combining three crucial elements: next-generation AV, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and a 24/7 managed hunting service — all powered by intelligence and uniquely delivered via the cloud in a single integrated solution. Falcon uses the patent-pending CrowdStrike Threat Graph™ to analyze and correlate billions of events in real time, providing complete protection and five-second visibility across all endpoints.

Many of the world’s largest organizations already put their trust in CrowdStrike, including three of the 10 largest global companies by revenue, five of the 10 largest financial institutions, three of the top 10 health care providers, and three of the top 10 energy companies. CrowdStrike Falcon is currently deployed in more than 170 countries.
