MIAMI BEACH, Fla.--()--Mediaspectrum, Inc.® today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Alain D. Bandle as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Bandle succeeds Mediaspectrum founder Scott Killoh, who has served as CEO since the company’s inception in 2001. Mr. Killoh will maintain his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors and continue to lead the spin off of Mediaspectrum’s banking and platform companies as Mr. Bandle takes over the entire media business.

“Mediaspectrum is a tremendous company enjoying extremely fast growth within multiple industries. I believe that adding the best and brightest people to focus clearly on each opportunity will allow us to continue to achieve the kind of success we are currently enjoying well into the future,” said Scott Killoh. “We’re thrilled to have someone of Alain’s caliber to drive Mediaspectrum’s outstanding media business to new heights.”

Alain D. Bandle is a trilingual Swiss CEO with extensive global commercial experience and a proven ability to create and implement business strategies that drive growth. He has held leading positions at a number of companies including Procter & Gamble, Hewlett Packard, Swissair and Dell.

Most recently, Mr. Bandle headed Publicitas AG, a leading international media sales company, who opted for the software solution from Mediaspectrum to consolidate their infrastructure and handling cross-media advertising campaigns on one single cloud-based platform.

“I am excited to join the world’s first company offering an end-to-end software supply chain in the cloud specifically aimed at media companies,” said Alain D. Bandle, “and feel honored to lead Mediaspectrum into the next growth phase.”

Previously, Mr. Bandle served as CEO of the Versatel telecommunications group in Düsseldorf, which he sold to the American private equity company KKR following a successful repositioning and turnaround in 2011. From 2003 to 2009, he worked at Dell. As Vice-President and General Manager based in Geneva, Mr. Bandle oversaw Europe-wide business relations in the public sector, which constituted Dell’s largest and most successful business segment with sales volumes of over EUR 2.5 billion and 700 employees. Before that, he headed the Central Europe (DACH) division at Dell.

For a number of years, Mr. Bandle has complemented his operative duties by serving in an advisory capacity or as a supervisory board member for various companies and organisations, such as at Kooaba, an ETH (Federal Institute of Technology) start-up company in the field of augmented reality that was successfully sold to Qualcomm in January 2014. In addition, he has consulted companies and private equity firms in regard to ICTM projects as a senior executive advisor.

Furthermore, Mr. Bandle is a non-executive director at SweetSpot based in Palo Alto, and member of the Advisory Board at SATMAP Inc. based in Washington.

Adding to Mr. Bandle’s resume, he holds an MBA from the University St. Gallen, Switzerland.
