LONDON--()--Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), announced the affiliation of Anantara Vacation Club, a points-based club with a portfolio of six luxury resorts in some of the most sought-after destinations in Asia Pacific. Three resorts are in Thailand, where the company is based, and three more are located in Bali, China, and New Zealand.

"Anantara Vacation Club is part of Minor Hotel Group, one of the largest hospitality and leisure companies in the Asia Pacific region," said Joe Hickman, vice president and executive director Asia Pacific for Interval International. "The shared ownership lifestyle is an ideal complement to this award-winning brand, making Anantara Vacation Club a significant regional affiliate in Interval's network of quality resorts worldwide."

Anantara Vacation Club Bali Seminyak is close to the designer shops, restaurants, and nightlife of Bali's popular Seminyak district and close to cultural sights and stunning beaches. Yet it is a serene retreat, inspired by a modern colonial plantation. All of the one-, two-, and three-bedroom stand-alone villas are designed to be open to nature and have private pools.

Anantara Vacation Club Bophut Koh Samui is tucked into tranquil Bophut Bay near a laidback fishing village on the north coast of Thailand's popular holiday island, Koh Samui. The one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas are either steps from the beach or scattered within lush grounds, which include tennis courts and on-site restaurants and bars. Guests have access to all of the amenities of this mixed-use development.

Anantara Vacation Club Phuket Mai Khao, a few minutes’ walk from the longest beach on Phuket, Thailand's other renowned holiday island, is ideally positioned for exploring the sea caves, coral reefs, mangroves, and islands of Sirinath National Park. The one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments offer spectacular sunset vistas or pool access at the ground level, and the secluded one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas have private swimming pools.

Anantara Vacation Club Oaks Shores treats guests to breathtaking panoramas from the shoreline of Lake Wakatipu, a year-round destination near Queenstown, New Zealand. The club's three-bedroom units provide easy access to a wide variety of leisure activities, including water sports, world-class skiing, golf, and wine-tasting.

Anantara Vacation Club Bangkok Sathorn is a stylish urban retreat, with jaw-dropping views of downtown Bangkok, Thailand, from the floor-to-ceiling windows in one-, two-, or three-bedroom apartments on the 28th floor. Guests have full access to the shared amenities of the mixed-use resort, including a 105 feet-long (32 metres) infinity-edge swimming pool, indoor/outdoor restaurants, a full-service spa, fitness centre, and tennis court with professional coaching available.

Anantara Vacation Club Sanya is situated between mountains and the beaches of the South China Sea on the southern coast of Hainan Island, 15 minutes from the heart of Sanya City, China. The club's two-bedroom apartments are housed in a luxury condominium development with its own swimming pool and share access to the amenities of nearby Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa, which include restaurants, swimming pool, and gym.

"The resorts in Anantara Vacation Club's portfolio are reflective of the company's grounded expertise, and its dedication to offering guests the best opportunities for indigenous discovery in one of the world’s fastest growing areas," said Darren Ettridge, Interval’s senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. "We're pleased that all the members of the club, who currently enjoy a superior level of luxury and choice in the Asia Pacific region, now have access to Interval's quality network of resorts worldwide.”

"We're excited to reach out to a global market through our affiliation with Interval International," said Martin Tolan, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Anantara Vacation Club. "Our experience as leaders in hospitality in Asia Pacific has given us insight into what inspires, motivates, and satisfies our guests here. We look forward to introducing our brand to Interval members travelling on exchanges."

Existing Anantara club owners will be enrolled as individual members of Interval International and will also become either Interval Gold or Interval Platinum members.
