BRISTOL, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Universal Fibers® and DuPont Industrial Biosciences (DuPont) announced today a collaboration to produce and market carpet fiber using DuPont™ Sorona® renewably sourced polymer. The scope of the collaboration includes sales into the commercial, residential and automotive market segments. DuPont will provide its Sorona® polymer to Universal Fibers for their use in producing carpet fiber to be marketed and sold under the Universal Fibers® brand with DuPont™ Sorona®.
