2014 International CES

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® today announced that the 2014 International CES® website (CESweb.org) and enhanced mobile app are now available. The site and app designs have been refreshed to enhance the user experience through improved ease of use across various types of devices and the addition of new customized content. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2014 CES, the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, will run January 7-10, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The new CESweb.org is optimized to allow users a seamless experience on any device, from desktop or laptop to tablet or smartphone. The website design has also been refreshed with a new look and feel, enhancing the visitor experience and providing users with intuitive navigation. This approach also allows for easier registration for the 2014 CES from a mobile device (CESweb.org/Register-Plan).

“Each year we strive to find new ways to improve the International CES experience for all of our attendees,” said Karen Chupka, senior vice president, events and conferences, CEA. “Our new website and enhanced mobile app were both developed with the mobile first approach allowing users to access information easily no matter what device they are using.”

Attendees with any web-based smartphone or tablet will continue to be able to download the CES mobile app for free and use its one-of-a-kind features with or without an internet connection. In addition to event scheduling, onsite navigation, news alerts, travel arrangements and market research, attendees will now find new features that allow them to further customize content for their specific needs. New premium features such as topic-specific walking tours will give attendees the option to pay a nominal fee to extend the educational value of the CES conference sessions and focus on their specific areas of interest at the show.

The 2014 CES will feature more than 3,200 exhibitors unveiling the latest consumer technology products and services across 15 product categories. For more information on the 2014 International CES, visit CESweb.org.

Note to Editors: The official name of the global technology event is “International CES.” Subsequent references to the show can be shortened to “CES.” Please do not use “Consumer Electronics Show” to refer to the International CES.
