Toshiba to Support Developers of Apps and Services for "FlashAir(TM)" with "FlashAir Developers" Website

TOKYO--()--Toshiba Corporation (TOKYO:6502) today announced that it will provide the technical information to the developers of apps and services for “FlashAirTM”, the SDHC memory card with embedded wireless LAN functionality, through a technical information website “FlashAir Developers”, operated by Fixstars Corporation.

“FlashAir Developers” will feature application programming interface (API) information for enabling transfers of files stored on “FlashAir” cards to Wi-Fi devices. It will also offer tutorials and sample codes for developing apps, plus an extensive FAQ and a developers forum. Users will be able to develop apps and services for “FlashAir” by using the API information on the website.
