DocuSign MOMENTUM 2013

SAN FRANCISCO--()--DocuSign, The Global Standard for eSignature®, announced the spring release of its award-winning eSignature transaction management platform to empower companies to engage people and transact business from any mobile device. Companies now have everything they need to originate and sign documents on- or offline from mobile devices. The DocuSign Spring ’13 Release also includes enhanced templates, additional branding capabilities, and new integrations and partnerships. Global organizations are DocuSigning to keep business digital and complete transactions faster than ever before.

“DocuSign continues to lead the market in innovation with the most powerful platform, world class customer programs, and the richest partner ecosystem,” said DocuSign chairman and CEO Keith Krach. “DocuSign helps customers eliminate paper and manual processes from transactions to keep business digital from start to finish. With 300% growth in mobile signing on the DocuSign Global Network since the beginning of 2012, it’s only natural to extend these capabilities to every mobile device.”

According to Gartner Analyst Leif-Olof Wallin in the September 2012 Gartner Research Report, CFO Advisory: Mobility is Changing the Enterprise, “Mobile technologies are becoming ubiquitous, and widespread consumer adoption of these technologies is already transforming how many organizations are ensuring that customer, partner, and even internal relationships/engagements are more dynamic and in real time.” Wallin furthered, “Mobile technologies are now becoming infused in organizations' work fabric, as more employees use their personal mobile devices, along with social networking, cloud-based file synchronization and Web applications, to transform the way work is executed.”

Building on the success of DocuSign Ink for Apple iOS, Android, Windows 8, and DocuSign’s mobile browser that first brought signing to any mobile device, DocuSign now offers the industry’s most complete mobile eSignature solution. Mobile enhancements in the DocuSign Spring ’13 Release include:

  • Complete eSignature functionality via mobile devices – New support for document origination, setting signer sequence, and in-person signing.
  • Optimized mobile experience – Streamlined mobile browser user interface providing a more intuitive user experience while maximizing screen real estate for document preparation and signing.
  • Offline productivity – New capability allows preparation of documents for sending and signing even when the phone carrier service is unavailable, with automatic sending as soon as service is restored.
  • Mobile device management – DocuSign now offers an iOS app for organizations using Good Technology to manage employee-provided (‘BYOD’) devices.
  • Mobile application integration – Complete APIs and an optimized embedded signing experience make it even easier for customers to build DocuSign into their own mobile apps.

Additional enhancements in the DocuSign Spring ’13 Release include:

Templates – Templates now include the ability to lock the content in the email sent to recipients inviting them to sign so IT and other template creators can ensure a standard process across the entire signing experience when needed. DocuSign has also improved the responsiveness of automatic template matching so users see suggested templates to use when preparing documents for signature more quickly.

New visual design for Signers – DocuSign’s new visual design – including redesigned buttons, navigation, and page layouts – makes DocuSign even easier and more pleasing to use for signers.

Accessibility – DocuSign has enhanced accessibility for the sight impaired by adding the ability to specify reading zones when preparing documents so screen reader users navigate sections of documents most appropriately.

Cloud storage integration – DocuSign has launched an integration with Egnyte and enhanced its Box integration. Users can send documents for signature directly from these cloud storage sites. When sent from Box, documents return signed back to Box in a “completed documents” folder, so it’s easier than ever to manage business transactions in the cloud. DocuSign now allows administrators to manage end user access to the many cloud storage document source options using central policies.

CRM & CLM integrations – DocuSign’s latest release builds on its deep integrations with many leading CRM platforms, including a powerful new NetSuite integration and a new release of DocuSign for Salesforce including support for signing in more than 40 languages. Additional partner developed integrations include HP Relate, Selectica, and Novatus.

Industry-specific partnerships DocuSign formed new alliances with Mortgage Harmony, Vision Commerce, and Campus Management to support its growing base of customers in insurance, financial services, real estate, and education.

“The ability to DocuSign a document even while not online—securely and digitally—will help our teams keep business digital no matter where they are,” said Thomas Gennarelli, director of transportation, Wood Products at Weyerhaeuser.
