SAPPORO, Japan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--East Nippon Expressway Co.,Ltd. Hokkaido Regional Head Office has started the sale of Highway discount product for foreign visitors to Japan from April 1st, 2013 based on cooperation with TOYOTA Rent-A-Lease SAPPORO Co.,Ltd, TOYOTA Rent-A-Lease SHINSAPPORO Co.,Ltd, Nippon Rent-A-Car Hokkaido Co.,Ltd and ORIX Auto Corporation.
The "Hokkaido Expressway Pass" is a special product to drivers using a rental car with ETC that allows unlimited use of highways within hokkaido one flat rate.
ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) is a system that drivers using on ETC equipped car can pay expressway tolls through wireless communication without stopping at the tollgate. This extremely convenient system avoid the hassle of stopping to pay.
