NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Collective today announced that former PayPal executive and eBay North American Marketplaces CFO, Aman Verjee, has joined the Company as its Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Verjee joins the senior management team and will oversee the finance and operations teams across its domestic and UK offices.

“Aman is a technology veteran with deep experience in fast growth companies,” said Joe Apprendi, CEO, Collective. “Collective has aggressive goals for future M&A opportunities as we work to consolidate and automate the data-driven advertising landscape. Aman’s corporate development experience and operating insight will help accelerate our growth and further strengthen our commitment to delivering measurable branding that works.”

Verjee has a comprehensive background in big data, analytics and technology platform solutions, which he refined during his tenure at high-growth businesses eBay and PayPal. At PayPal he held various positions until eventually managing the strategy, customer analytics, financial planning and analysis teams, playing a key role in the growth of the company’s revenue from $100 million to over $1.8 billion dollars.

“After meeting with Joe and the rest of the team, I was extremely impressed by their shared vision, their sense of purpose,” added Verjee. “This is a world-class team of great people and great businessmen and women. And they’re relentlessly focused on creating a smarter way of doing business for the world’s most innovative brands. I’m excited to join this effort.”

More recently, Verjee was the divisional CFO of eBay’s North American Marketplaces operation, leading its global strategy, product testing and analytics, and marketing analytics groups. Verjee is the former CFO of Sonos, a consumer electronics company specializing in wireless home music systems, which saw global expansion into Europe, Latin American and Asia Pacific during his tenure. He has also held positions in fixed income securities trading and financial engineering at Lehman Brothers, and was an associate at McKinsey & Co.

Continued Growth

Collective has made significant strides in becoming a scalable business that can deliver on the needs brand advertisers and publishers have today, while looking strategically to the future. The appointment of Verjee as CFO is the latest hire in support of Collective’s expanded product suite which includes Ensemble, the Company’s technology platform designed to service brand advertisers seeking a complete buy-side audience platform and services solution.
