Drug Safety and Preclinical Sciences Leader Joins MPI Research

MATTAWAN, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Paul Oskar III has joined MPI Research, the largest single-site preclinical contract research organization worldwide, as Vice President, General Manager of Drug Safety and Preclinical Sciences.

Over the past decade, Oskar has held numerous leadership positions with Charles River Laboratories (CRL), most recently as Corporate Vice President, Global Primate Supply. At CRL, he has also held the positions of Corporate Vice President of Global Discovery Services, Corporate Vice President of Specialty Preclinical Services, Corporate Vice President and President of US Preclinical Services, and General Manager of Preclinical Services at the Worcester site. He began his career at CRL's Research Animal Diagnostic Services Laboratory, ultimately serving as Executive Director responsible for all laboratory operations. During his time at CRL, Oskar consistently grew sales and profits, expanded laboratory space and implemented cutting edge technology. Oskar received his MBA from the University of Massachusetts and his BA in Zoology from the University of Rhode Island.
