Newest Release Simplifies Multi-tier Supply Network Visibility and Cloud Access to Product Quality Data
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Camstar Systems, Inc. announced today the general availability of Camstar SigmaSureTM 7.1, a cloud-based solution for Supply Network Visibility and Intelligence. Camstar SigmaSure aggregates quality data from globally dispersed and multi-tier supply networks, enabling real-time monitoring, detection, notification, visualization, and discovery. It captures product quality data in real time from suppliers, contract manufacturers (CMs), original design manufacturers (ODMs), manufacturing sites, and service centers. Data captured and contextualized from automation and test equipment, databases and web interfaces is optimized for fast analysis and issue resolution.

Highlights of the new release include the following:
- Increased Supply Chain Data Exchange in a multi-tenant SaaS solution. New functionality simplifies data transfers between a brand owner and one or more contract manufacturers or suppliers.
- Flexible Charting and Report Building. Flexible and custom queries generate standard presentations such as line graphs, pie charts, scatter charts, etc., as well as grids with Excel-like capabilities. Reusable components can be added to the Camstar SigmaSure Dashboard.
- Camstar Manufacturing Adapter aggregates parametric data from Camstar Manufacturing to Camstar SigmaSure for analysis. Data from Camstar Manufacturing (Camstar's Manufacturing Execution System (MES)) allows detailed production and as-built data to be available for analysis along with broader supplier quality data.
- Supply Genealogy allows you to define products and assembly process steps. Genealogy records may now be either manually entered or imported for additional analysis and reporting.
- Enhanced Security. Security enhancements include stricter login/password and account lockout functions.
