Yin, who is based in Hong Kong, will appear through the morning on "Bloomberg News Asia" (7 AM - 10:00 AM HK time), which takes viewers around the Asia-Pacific region from Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and other locations to offer a comprehensive update on the U.S. market close, the Europe trading day and the day ahead for Asia-Pacific markets. Yin will also contribute to news reporting for the Bloomberg Television network's hubs in London and New York. In addition to Bloomberg Television's studio locations in New York, London and Hong Kong, the network has cameras at Bloomberg News bureaus, exchanges and markets sites in nearly 60 cities around the world.

"We are pleased to welcome Phillip to Bloomberg Television's global line-up of business reporters," said Brian Martinez, International Managing Director for Bloomberg Television. "I am very excited to join Bloomberg Television," said Yin. "Having worked in finance and investing in Asia, Europe and the United States, I hope to bring clarity and a global news focus to Bloomberg Television's worldwide business coverage."
