N-trig Announces New DuoSense® Chipset with Enhanced Pen and Multi-Touch Capabilities at SID 2010 Display Week

New Generation Chipset Demonstrates Strong Technological Development to Perpetuate Pen and Multi-Touch Computing for Continued Market Growth

SEATTLE -- (BUSINESS WIRE) --

N-trig is today launching its next generation DuoSense® chipset which will provide greater and improved pen and multi-touch capabilities enabling OEM's to offer advanced new computing products resulting in an enhanced and more natural user experience. Production shipments of the new chipset are expected in Q3 2010. SID attendees can get Hands-on® at N-trig's booth #1519 and see demonstrations of the latest DuoSense enabled products and technology enhancements.

The next-generation chipset will provide more processing power, reduced energy consumption, increased memory and the support for more than 4 finger input together with simultaneous pen interaction. The enhanced chipset will also provide OEMs with an improved feature set that will help them meet rapid market growth as demand continues to increase for pen and multi-touch solutions offering users better response time, higher precision and increased touch-screen sensitivity.
