NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Ingevity (NYSE:NGVT) will showcase its Capa® caprolactone technology at Chinaplas 2021 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, Shenzhen, China, from April 13-16, 2021. The company’s exhibit space and seminars will demonstrate the versatility of the Capa portfolio for a wide variety of polyurethane and bioplastics applications, and highlight Ingevity’s recently launched Capa S polyol technology that enables conventional production of soft thermoplastic polyurethanes without the use of plasticizers.

“For the last 40 years, the Capa product family has helped customers create winning formulations in coatings, elastomers, bioplastics and adhesive applications,” said Steven Hulme, vice president, engineered polymers, at Ingevity. “The Chinaplas symposium is the perfect opportunity to continue to raise awareness of the benefits of polycaprolactones specifically in bioplastic and polyurethane applications, and to highlight the unique attributes enabled by our Capa S series technology.”

The world’s largest plastic trade show, Chinaplas showcases the most advanced technologies and concepts that further the development and production of plastic and rubber products. More than 3,500 professionals exhibit at the industry-leading forum.

Ingevity’s team will present on the Capa S series and its thermoplastic technology for bioplastic applications on April 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., respectively (Beijing Time).
