Helios Brings Together Anta and China's First Winter Olympic Gold Medalist for Major Sports Apparel Launch Following Vancouver 2010

BEIJING -- (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Anta, the official outfitter of the Vancouver 2010 Chinese Olympic Team, has completed a major endorsement deal with short track speed skating Olympic gold medalist and IOC nominee, Yang Yang. The Helios-brokered agreement involves the development and launch of a signature line that brings together Anta's high quality apparel with the grace and excellence of one of China's greatest athletes.

Yang Yang has also recently been nominated to join the International Olympic Committee. A national hero and the most decorated Chinese winter athlete in history, she is a two time gold medalist and winner of 59 World Titles in the sport of short track speed skating. "I look forward to a great partnership with Anta and continuing my relationship with Helios," said Yang Yang. "The Anta partnership is a direct result of Helios' personal approach and excellent network of contacts in the industry."

Helios has a long history of success assisting sponsors and members of the Olympic family with the achievement of their goals in relation to the Olympic Games. The globally recognized sports marketing firm has frequently procured athletes on behalf of major sponsors, including Lenovo, BHP Billiton and Fedex. Their relationship with Yang Yang has included representation and execution of a major endorsement agreement for the 2008 Beijing Games.

"This is an ideal partnership," said Chris Renner, President of Helios China. "We are pleased to bring together an emerging company with such an outstanding representative of both the Olympic Movement and China's Olympic success." Although retired from competition now, Yang Yang will be active in Vancouver, fulfilling a number of duties that are an outgrowth of her Olympic accomplishments.

With offices in Atlanta, Beijing, and Zurich, Helios delivers high quality sports consulting services to a wide range of global corporate sponsors, sports properties and cities seeking to host major international sports events. Most recently, Helios played a major role in helping the sport of golf return to the Olympic Games after an absence of 105 years.
