Systech Electronics Licenses WiTricity Technology to Offer Wireless Charging Solutions to Consumer Electronics Customers

Systech to target wireless charging applications for the Chinese market and beyond

BOSTON & TAIPEI, China--()--WiTricity, the industry pioneer in wireless power transfer over distance, today announced that Hong Kong-based Systech Electronics, Ltd., an innovator in product design and manufacturing, has licensed WiTricity’s magnetic resonance technology for use in wireless charging systems developed by Systech for the consumer electronics market. Primarily addressing the Greater China market, Systech will offer design and manufacturing services for OEMs looking to integrate wireless charging based on WiTricity’s intellectual property into its products and systems for shipment worldwide.

Systech’s comprehensive services – from concept development to design and prototyping, all the way to product manufacturing – will allow Systech to work with OEMs to integrate WiTricity wireless charging technology into their consumer electronics products, ranging from smartphones to tablets to laptops. Under the licensing agreement, Systech will have access to a number of WiTricity reference designs, as well as extensive training, expertise and support from WiTricity, which will accelerate the development and release of innovative designs that incorporate wireless charging.

Located in ASD stand M1234 in the Nangang Exhibition Hall 1, Systech will demonstrate wireless charging systems based on WiTricity technology in their booth.
