Letv Executive Liang Jun Announced as Industry Mover Speaker at Inaugural CES Asia

President of Le Shi Zhi Xin to discuss growing ecosystem of smart devices

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--CES® AsiaTM today announced that Liang Jun, president of Le Shi Zhi Xin, a subsidiary of Letv, will deliver an address at the inaugural CES Asia as part of the Industry Mover Speaker Series. Liang joins leaders from Audi, Intel, IBM, Twitter and Suning as confirmed speakers at the 2015 CES Asia, produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® and co-produced by INTEX. Featuring top technology companies from around the world, CES Asia will run May 25-27 in Shanghai, China, and will draw global businesses to showcase the latest products and technologies entering the Asian marketplace.

Liang’s address will take place from 3:30-4:20 PM Tuesday, May 26, in the Kerry Hotel, Level 3, Grand Shanghai Ballroom 2-3. He will discuss Letv’s growing ecosystem of smart devices, from their recently released smart phone to smart TVs and smart cars. Liang will present his keynote in Mandarin with translation services in English available on-site on a first-come, first-served basis.

Liang Jun holds a master’s degree in electronic engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University and an EMBA from the China Europe International Business School. He joined Letv in 2012 and currently serves as president of Le Shi Zhi Xin and COO, smart terminals business group, Letv. Letv is one of China’s largest Internet companies, and currently employs more than 5,000 people.

Liang joins Shailesh Rao from Twitter as an Industry Mover speaker at CES Asia. The Industry Mover Speaker Series is an exclusive platform at CES Asia for some of the world’s most influential brands. Industry Mover sessions will bring exceptional insight into the next generation of technology, presented by visionaries that are responsible for introducing this future to the world. Shailesh Rao, vice president of Asia Pacific, Latin America & emerging markets at Twitter, will deliver an Industry Mover Address at 10:30 AM Tuesday, May 26, in the Kerry Hotel, Level 3, Shanghai Ballroom 2-3. Industry Mover and keynote addresses are complimentary for all CES Asia attendees, and a CES Asia badge is all that is required for entry.

Other confirmed CES Asia speakers include Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA, as well as leaders from Audi, Intel, IBM, and Suning. Rupert Stadler, chairman of the board of management at AUDI AG, will deliver the preshow keynote address at 5 PM Sunday, May 24, in the Jumeirah Hotel, DaGuan Theatre. Gary Shapiro will deliver a Welcome Address at 10:30 AM Monday, May 25, at the Kerry Hotel, Level 3, Grand Shanghai Ballroom 2-3, immediately followed by a keynote address from Kirk Skaugen, senior vice president and general manager of the client computing group for Intel Corporation. D.C. Chien, general manager of IBM Greater China Group, will speak at 3:30 PM May 25, at the Kerry Hotel, Level 3, Grand Shanghai Ballroom 2-3. Sun Weimin, vice chairman of Suning Commerce Group Co., Ltd. will deliver his keynote address at 1 PM Tuesday, May 26, in the Kerry Hotel, Level 3, Grand Shanghai Ballroom 2-3.
