SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--Structural Integrity Associates announced that Christine King will join the company as Vice President of Nuclear Plant Services. She will continue its successful efforts servicing domestic and international nuclear plants worldwide. King will report to Structural Integrity CEO, Laney Bisbee. She is joining Structural Integrity from Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), where she held leadership positions in materials, fuels, chemistry, and nuclear waste research.

“I am pleased to have Christine join Structural Integrity,” Bisbee said. “Our Nuclear Plant Services division has continued to grow despite the current economic challenges facing the US nuclear industry. As nuclear plants age and the power industry evaluates the growth of new nuclear power plants, Christine brings additional expertise to our organization from a respected industry research organization. Her engineering background in asset management and strong leadership skills will be a valuable asset to us and our clients.”

“Structural Integrity is a respected, client-focused engineering services company that is relied on for their innovation in solving the industry’s most difficult problems,” King said. “This position allows me the opportunity to blend my commercial background with my recent experience in collaborative research. As nuclear plants age, our industry will face many technical and regulatory challenges in running the equipment longer. The Structural Integrity team focuses our efforts on integrated solutions that support the needs across the nuclear industry to ensure reliable power.” King will build upon Structural Integrity’s integrated service solutions for nuclear plants domestically and internationally. King will also focus attention on integrating ANATECH and Finetech as new members of the SI team.

Before joining Structural Integrity, King spent over 13 years at EPRI working in a variety of different technical and business disciplines. In her last role at EPRI, King was Director of Fuels, Chemistry, Radiation Management, Low and High Level Waste in the Nuclear Power Sector.
